Yes, a lot has happened since my last post

what do you want first? the good news or bad news? ok, i'll start with the good. our sink that was leaking is now fixed. so i don't have to drench my socks in the puddle anymore. still on the good side is that me and scott went on a date tonight to applebee's. we thought we would celebrate the temp job i just got. then comes the bad news. as we pull into the parking lot at applebee's the temp agency calls. they just received a call from the engineering company that someone had already hired a receptionist without their knowledge. so i lost the job before i had it! so what's the lesson i learned? life isn't fair, but God is in control.

How weird is that? The same night you lose the job you didn't yet have is the same night I get a call from someone who wants a baby-sitter. Certainly it's not full time work, but a side job doesn't hurt. What is your degree? Would you be interested in subbing? The school I taught at usually can use subs. I'll keep my ears open and let you know if I hear about any job opportunities. Is Scott looking for work too?

I know. that was such a blessing about the baby-sitting job. I only have an associates degree in Bible. So i'm not sure if that's good enough. but i'd be interested. scott has a temp job landscaping right now. so that's been a blessing. he's been doing it for a week now. he's hoping to get hired on with ups. what does your husband do?

My husband was offered a position with UPS but thankfully found another position as a maintenance man at the Jewish Temple. It's better pay and extremely flexible!!! UPS has great insurance and is a good job to have if you can get on a good shift. Have you contacted Bargo and Associates? They are not a temp agency. They are a job placing agency. You tell them what kind of work you can do, how much you want to get paid, how far you are willing to drive, etc. and they find you a job that fits what you're looking for. That's how Ben got his job. If you call them, ask for Patsy.
